Unlike most of the recruiting firms you’ve probably encountered, we’ve worked side-by-side with engineers and technologists to coach and grow technology teams. We’re not your typical “technical recruiter.” We really do understand technology. We speak the language. We know what K8s are, what companies are using Rust and why, and that if you write in Go, you’ll collect more than $200. We know saying we use data in our recruiting process has to mean more than using BIC as our primary KPI.

What’s more, the extensive onboarding process we use with our client companies acquires the data points engineers ask for and care about - data points about company funding, culture, and leadership. And through our client companies, we’re able to open doors to challenging positions with innovative teams, like CTRL-Labs, making a real difference in sectors like AI, health tech, and consumer tech.

What You Can Expect

We approach the job search very differently from other recruiting firms. With Internal External, you can expect:

  • A humanizing, get-to-know you call to understand you - your experience, abilities, interests, and talents - information that’s not on your resume. Simply, we get to know you, so we can craft an accurate, engaging description of you as a candidate and person.

  • An efficient, transparent process that provides companies with upfront, accurate, and relevant information about you.

  • Relevant, fitting opportunities presented to you by phone, email, or virtual conference with the information and data points you need to be prepared for conversations and interviews.

  • An explanation of and help with the interview process, along with information on each company you’re presented to.

  • Quick submission response times of about 1-3 days. If a company isn’t responsive, we move on.

  • Interview feedback on the interviews you participate in.

  • Timeline and process management with tips at each stage in the process.

  • Assistance vetting opportunities and with compensation negotiations until you find the best-fit situation.
